Lindsay Burleson, LLC, MTS, MEd, LPC-S

Lindsay Burleson is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), and certified by the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation to provide intensive outpatient services.  Lindsay is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Samford University with a BA in Psychology; she holds a Master of Theological Studies from Beeson Divinity School and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo. Lindsay conducts diagnostic evaluations, individual psychotherapy (behavior management techniques, parenting education, cognitive behavior therapy, and exposure/response prevention) and intensive outpatient therapy.  Her training involves extensive work with ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders including obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and life transitions.  She also provides pre-marital/marital counseling and divorce recovery.  Lindsay and her husband, Aaron, live in Huntsville with their daughters, Brynlee Kate and Rebecca Blaire, and dog, Louie.

Sydney Buchan, LLC, MA, ALC

Sydney Buchan is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Alabama. Sydney obtained a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from The University of North Alabama in December 2020. She is currently working under the supervision of Ashley Berrios, LPC-S. Sydney’s passion is building strong therapeutic relationships. She works to build these relationships by providing a non-judgmental experience through an open mind and curious spirit. Sydney incorporates a client-centered approach and uses CBT and exposure and response prevention therapy to help clients work through difficult times. Sydney has experience working with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and ADHD. She possesses an inclination toward the LGBTQ+ community and enjoys working with adolescents and adults. Sydney believes in helping clients achieve self-efficacy and resilience in order to heal and live a fulfilling life. Sydney was born and raised in The Shoals. She recently moved to Huntsville, where she enjoys exploring local restaurants and markets in her free time.

Chloe Hammick, LLC, MS, LPC, NCC

Chloe Hammick is a two time graduate of Troy University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2017 and then graduated with her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health in 2020. Chloe is currently an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Cayley Edmonds, LPC. She has many years of experience in a variety of mental health rolls from inpatient psychiatric services to outpatient private practice. She loves working with clients of all ages and stages in life, but if you find yourself dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, or motherhood issues, she is a great fit! Chloe strives to make her clients feel both supported and empowered in every session by offering person centered therapy combined with psychoeducation resources. Her techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure and response prevention therapy. For clients struggling with managing interpersonal relationships, she incorporates many of the ideas from Dr. John Gottman. Chloe also offers assessment for ADHD. Chloe is a transplant to Huntsville in 2019. In her free time, Chloe enjoys spending time with her partner, Paul, and their 2 boys being active downtown, attending arts festival, or hiking the many trails around town.

Calah Fite, LLC, MEd, LPC, NCC

Calah Fite is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with 7 years of experience counseling children, adolescents, and young adults. She obtained her Masters of Education in Human Developmental Counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2018 after graduating from Belmont University with a B.S. in Social Entrepreneurship with a minor in Theology in 2016. 

Calah’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, perfectionism, women's issues, grief, relationship issues, self sabotage/goal setting, healing from trauma, boundary setting, spirituality, and life-transitions for adolescents, women and couples. She seeks to bring awareness and change so clients can exchange negative thought patterns and behaviors for a renewed sense of peace and wholeness.

Her approach is integrative, holistic, and relational. She pulls from various therapeutic methods to tailor them to the needs of each individual client. She is trained in Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, (SFBT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to effectively help each client reach their goals. She also offers faith-based counseling for clients looking to incorporate this into their sessions and believes that our minds, bodies, and souls are all interconnected and we can dive into correcting any negative beliefs with God's truth to find peace and wholeness.

 

While not counseling, she serves at her local church, loves songwriting and playing music, and lives near Downtown Huntsville with her husband and soon to be baby who will be born in Fall of 2023.

Felicia Inman, BS, MA, ALC, NCC

Felicia Inman graduated with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in human development in 2020 from Athens State University and a her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Alabama in 2023. She is currently working under the supervision of Lindsay Burleson, LLC, LPC-S, MEd, MTS. Felicia’s therapeutic passions are helping people from all walks of life who are experiencing grief, trauma, depression, substance abuse, anxiety, and a variety of other mental health concerns. Felicia utilizes person-centered, logotherapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches to counseling. Additionally, Felicia chooses to be integrative in her therapeutic techniques and tailors them to the needs of her clients. She is passionate about counseling and strives to create an atmosphere that is safe for her clients to feel validated and heard throughout their therapy experience. Felicia values sitting with clients through whatever brings them to therapy to collaboratively work together to create a life that is best for them. In her free time, Felicia enjoys reading, hiking with her husband, Dustin, & two sons, gardening, and spending time with friends and family.

Tashara Childs, BS, MS, LPC

Tashara J. Childs, affectionately known as TJ, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Neurolinguist Programming Life Coach and author. TJ is a graduate from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Science in Counseling from Faulkner University. She has dedicated her life to empowering women (especially Millennial women) to transform their lives by changing their mindset, managing their emotions, and overcoming limiting beliefs.

TJ uses a client centered approach with evidence based Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques to reach therapeutic goals through empathy, active listening, goal setting and talk therapy. TJ has worked bi-vocationally as a youth pastor. When requested by the client, she offers the inclusion of spirituality and Biblical principles into the client's therapeutic service.

TJ has experience working with anxiety, depression, spiritual trauma and addiction. She provides individual therapy for clients of all ages. The ultimate goal for the therapeutic experience is to assist the client with the tools, support, and guidance they need to create a vision for a happier and more fulfilling life. It is TJ’s belief that we can all strive to achieve optimal functioning and live lives that are exceedingly, abundantly and above all we could ever ask or think.

TJ is a small town girl who has lived in Huntsville for 10 years. When she’s not counseling, TJ enjoys brunch with the Brave Women Collective, writing Bible studies, online shopping and listening to audiobooks.

Heather Dotson, MS, MA, ALC

Heather Dotson graduated with a Master of Arts in Experimental Psychology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A&M University. She is under the supervision of Lindsay Burleson, LLC, LPC-S, MEd. MTS. Currently, Heather works as a school-based counselor at Hampton Cove Elementary and Middle Schools with NOVA. Heather is passionate about psychological testing and has trained in the administration, scoring, and reporting of testing for ADHD, intelligence, and achievement. Heather enjoys psychological testing and counseling to help individuals identify, understand, and work through life and academic difficulties.

Madelyn Pullum, BA, Intern

Madelyn Pullum is a graduate student at the University of North Alabama studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is completing her practicum work under the supervision of Lindsay Burleson, LLC, LPC-S, MEd, MTS. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from both Southeastern University with an Associates in Christian Ministries and Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Madelyn is passionate about providing safety to her clients and meeting them with sincerity and authenticity. She hopes to provide a welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable and capable of collaboratively working through challenges. Madelyn has a passion for health and nutrition and integrates this into her counseling work with clients. In her spare time, Madelyn enjoys playing with her dog, Andie, spending time with friends and family, reading, and working out.
